Rabbit Goody of Thistle Hill Weavers allowed me to explore some of her remnants and trials and I came across this beautiful wide stripe wool in faded olive. It was woven for HBO's The Gilded Age which was filmed along the East Coast including Troy, NY. The fabric was woven as carriage blankets for what I assume to be Episode 7 when everyone gathered outside in carriages to watch Edison light up a building.
I decided to felt the yardage and this resulted in various puckering and distortions depending on the different yarn shrinkages.
