I've been working with Gina Gregorio on creating a handkerchief print to be made from my jade plant sketches. My plants are always in various stages of health as I try to regulate my watering and then forget, the ever shifting amount of sunlight and my worries their spot is never the perfect spot- although I try not to move them around so much. When I was in Northern California last year I noticed huge (comparatively) jade plants everywhere and thought maybe they would be better off over there. I have one that's been in a glass- a branch that fell off- that seems to be thriving even though I forget to water it- there is some neglect- and like in a bad dream where you left your dog behind or you've left and realized you haven't watered your plants in three years. They seem to be doing fine.

Gina's gathering and flow of the my plant drawings- their rhythm and conversations with each other. The three of them- the two of us.
