It was an honor to dress Dr. Elodie Freymann for the 2026 Explorers Club Gala in New York City, where she received the New Explorers Award. Elodie wore the Seeker gown from the 2015 Palacetor collection. Its fabric was based on the Triumphal Arch Embroidery wall hanging, part of the @isabellastweartgardnermuseum collection. The embroidery was made in India in the mid-17th century for the Portuguese market, depicting triumphal arches erected in Lisbon. It was sponsored by Flemish merchants living in Lisbon and based on an etching of the arches published in Madrid.
The fabric for this dress was woven and embroidered in India.
