I was working on one project and decided it would be great to walk to the cemetery during the snowstorm this past Sunday morning and photograph the newly restored fountain. I imagined the women having blankets of white skirts created by the snow, and I wanted to capture this. This happens often when I focus on one thing and another thought or idea disrupts it. Then, while walking there, I think I should have stayed and continued working on what I was working on- this all drives me to think about how I can simplify my life and only do one thing at a time.
While I was there, my hands started to freeze, and I tried hard to focus on what was in front of me and not how I had imagined it. This is always my challenge- to be inspired and then (sometimes) ignore the muse so it doesn't get in the way.
