I am very excited to be part of The Penny Stamps Lecture Series on October 2nd at the Michigan Theater. I’m preparing a talk about my work and a demonstration that will draw inspiration from the historic Michigan Theater. Last month, I visited Ann Arbor to gather preliminary research for this project. The theater, designed by architect Maurice Finkel in 1927, has been beautifully restored over the years, including its original Barton Theater pipe organ.

In addition to my talk, I have begun writing a performance inspired by the theater and a small collection based on the characters that have emerged from it. Therefore, my talk is titled "Extracting Ghosts." It will be open to the public and is free of charge. More information can be found here!
